In early 2025, a heartbreaking theft disrupted one of our most impactful programs—our sewing vocational training. Nearly all of our sewing machines were stolen, leaving dozens of students without the tools they depend on to learn, create, and support their families. But out of this loss has come a powerful opportunity: to not only replace what was taken, but to build something even better.
We’re launching a bold new vision—constructing a secure, purpose-built Vocational Training Center that will house sewing, soap-making, tailoring, and more. This new space will serve as a hub of transformation: a place where students can learn life-changing skills in a safe, supportive environment, with room to grow, expand, and dream. It’s more than a building. It’s a declaration that hope is not easily stolen.
